During the\u00a028th Chaos Communication Congress<\/a>\u00a0Ang Cui<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Jonathan Voris<\/a>\u00a0present several generic firmware modification attacks against HP printers.<\/p>\n

The attacks they present exploit a functional vulnerability common to all HP printers, and do not depend on any specific code vulnerability.<\/p>\n
